Daily Stretches and Mobility Work
First Thing in the Morning
I do these in the morning, soon after I wake up (and drink a glass of water).
These are from the Athlean-X video “4 Stretches You Should Be Doing EVERY Morning!” (which I took notes on here):
Hip Hinge - Dynamic stretch for the hamstrings
Squat - Stretch the arms, groin, and hip flexors
Overhead Leaning Lunge - Stretch the hip flexors and open up the thoracic spine
Standing Shoulder Stretch - Externally rotate the shoulders and loosen the deltoids
It’s a nice break to do these at work.
